The Angry Crab Shack is excited to announce the inaugural Mesa Food Fest to celebrate local community, culture, and cuisine. The event is set for Feb. 17th, 2024 from 11am -8pm at the Mesa Amphitheater. The hours are split into two events featuring the Mesa Food Fest from 11am-5pm where fest goers will be able to experience the Mesa Food Fest, then concert hop from 5pm-8pm to the Mesa Amphitheater for the nationally recognized band, Blues Traveler Concert.
The Angry Crab Shack Mesa Food Fest is a one-day event that will feature a variety of global eats and treats from local food vendors serving up their finest authentic dishes. Other event highlights include watermelon, wing, steak, and pie eating competitions along with an interactive kid’s corner and TurfIt pet park. The live music entertainment line-up will not disappoint hosting 6 bands in 90’s rock, jazz, and blues performances on both stages with headliner Blues Traveler taking stage at Mesa Ampitheater at 6:30pm.

Blues Traveler is an American rock band that formed in Princeton, New Jersey in 1987. While Blues Traveler is best known among fans for their improvisational live shows, the general public is most familiar with the group from their Top 40 singles "Run-Around", "Hook", and "But Anyway". Blues Traveler's latest album, Traveler's Blues, was released in July 2021, and has been nominated by The Recording Academy for Best Traditional Blues album at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
