ACCEL Thanks Recipient of an Anonymous Donation of $50,000 in New Physical Therapy Equipment
By Autumn Jarrett - Friday Dec 04, 2020
ACCEL, a nonprofit that serves children and adults who have developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, cognitive disabilities and behavioral disorders, recently received a donation of new physical therapy equipment, valued at $50,000. The donation was made by an anonymous donor.

“We are grateful for this donation especially as we wrap-up a year where nonprofits have been greatly affected by COVID-19,” says Jessie Bustamante, chief advancement officer at ACCEL. “This generous donor has a personal connection to our mission and wants to help us continue to give our students a life of dignity and independence.”

The new equipment includes tricycles, activity chairs, compass chairs and a supine stander from Rifton Equipment that will be used across ACCEL’s three campuses in Phoenix, Tempe and Buckeye.
