Ability360 Raises Over $110,000 at Annual Breakfast
By Lindsay Hansen - Friday Nov 03, 2023
Ability360 hosted its fundraising breakfast on Thursday, Oct. 26. Nearly 400 community leaders and supporters attended and raised over $110,000. The breakfast was provided by Vincent on Camelback and Black Rifle Coffee and took place on the basketball courts. Arizona Complete Health was the presenting sponsor and the funds will support all the programs at the Sports & Fitness Center including youth, sports teams, military and 360Outdoors.

In partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Cory Hahn, assistant director, player personnel, as well as Bobby Hurley, Arizona State University Head Basketball Coach, the community came together to raise vitally needed funds to help sustain Ability360’s Sports & Fitness programs. Cory did a video interview on the road with the Diamondbacks during the World Series to talk about his journey after a spinal cord injury while playing for ASU Baseball and how he used the Sports & Fitness Center to rehabilitate and gain strength physically and mentally. Bobby shared his story after surviving a car accident nearly 30 years with Valley sports leader and founder/CEO of Sports360AZ.com Brad Cesmat.

Mike McQuaid, a longtime community philanthropist who passed away in 2020 was honored. McQuaid and his business partner, Jim Whitehead, were instrumental in helping to start the 360Breakfast in 2018.
