Lerner & Rowe Gives Back Hits $1 Million Goal Weeks Out From Golf Classic
By Molly Hammond - Friday Apr 21, 2023
PHOENIX (April 21, 2023) – Lerner & Rowe Gives Back, the nonprofit arm of Lerner & Rowe Injury Attorneys, has hit its $1 million fundraising goal more than a week in advance of its yearly golf tournament, the 10th Annual Lerner & Rowe Charity Golf Classic. The $1 million total marks the most significant amount raised in the Golf Classic’s history, just in time for its 10th anniversary.

Lerner & Rowe will host its yearly charity golf tournament to raise money for local nonprofits on Friday, April 28 at McCormick Ranch Golf Club. One hundred percent of the funds raised from the tournament will be donated to local charitable programs and supportive services throughout Arizona, including youth programs, health and human services, animal welfare and public safety.

Notable organizations that the fundraiser has benefitted in the past include Phoenix Children’s Hospital, PANDA, Military Assistance Mission, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale, Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels, Fiesta Bowl Wishes for Teachers and more.

"Lerner & Rowe has been a partner of Amanda Hope for seven years,” said Lorraine Tallman, CEO of Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels. “Their impact is priceless, and the smiles are endless. We are so grateful for their support."

In its first nine years, The Lerner & Rowe Charity Golf Classic raised more than $2.8 million for local charities, growing significantly since its inception in 2013. 2023 marks the first year the tournament has raised more than $1 million for charity. Lerner & Rowe Gives Back will continue raising funds at the April 28 event.

"Without the continuous generosity of sponsors, individual donors, volunteers, vendors, families and team members, this event would not be the success it is today,” said Kevin Rowe, founder of Lerner & Rowe Gives Back and founding partner of Lerner & Rowe Injury Attorneys. “We are grateful to have so many supporters come together with us to help contribute to the programs and nonprofits that better our communities.”

2023 sponsors of the tournament and its ongoing commitment to the state’s most worthy nonprofit organizations include Arizona’s Family, ABC 15, Special Olympics, Crescent Crown Distributing, Stamp Medical, Collision Chiropractors, 12 News, Fiesta Bowl, Oasis Financial, the Phoenix Suns, iHeart Media, Steak 44 and more. A full list of sponsors can be found at http://www.lernerandrowegivesback.com.

In addition to an afternoon of giving back, the event will include swag items for each golfer, raffle drawings, a drone golf ball drop, surprise entertainment and lunch. Sponsorship and donation opportunities are still available.
