For those who have long awaited the big screen return of super heroine Wonder Woman, the time is almost here. Set to release this month after several COVID-19 pandemic related delays, “Wonder Woman 1984” sees Gal Gadot return as Diana Prince, an immortal goddess, Amazon princess and warrior.

It would be hard now to imagine anyone else in the epic role of the Amazon princess, but few fans realize how much the stars had to align to make it happen. Not only was Gadot not the first choice for the role, but the 35-year-old Israeli actress almost took a different career path entirely.
