Two-time Oscar-winning actress and producer Emma Stone is riding the crest of a phenomenally successful acting career. She has shown remarkable versatility in taking roles in drama, comedy, dark comedy and horror films. Those in Arizona are particularly proud of the accomplished actress who has deep ties to Arizona.

Stone grew up in Phoenix and trained at Valley Youth Theatre under the instruction of the theatre’s executive producer, Bobb Cooper. The two-time Academy Award winning actress famously thanked Cooper during her Oscar acceptance speech when she won for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for the film “La La Land.” Stone next stars in “Kinds of Kindness,” a film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, the same man who directed Stone in her Oscar-winning role in “Poor Things.”
