Although some moviegoers may not realize it, actress and singer Alicia Witt has been a mainstay in television and films since she was a child. She was speaking fully at age two and reading by age four. Remarkably, she was discovered by famed director David Lynch after he heard young Witt reciting Shakespeare on the television variety show, “That’s Incredible!” She has forged a career in TV and film, then music, and is now co-starring in the horror thriller, “Longlegs,” alongside Nicolas Cage, Maika Monroe and Blair Underwood. The film opens nationwide on July 12.
