Game On! Family Game Day at ASU Prep South Phoenix
Apr
27
Whether it’s a good old-fashioned board game or the latest high-tech console, gaming is a great way to bring the family together. A lively and lighthearted event celebrating games of all kinds will bring an entire community together on Saturday, April 27. The Game On! Family Game Day at ASU Prep South Phoenix Primary/Intermediate School will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

During the free neighborhood event, classic family board games and engaging outdoor games will give parents the chance to show off some old-school skills with throwback favorites, while a mobile gaming truck lets the kids demonstrate their nimble moves (and plenty of hand-eye coordination, of course!).

Families can bring their game faces and their appetites since the event also features free hot dogs and drinks for attendees. In addition to music entertainment and prize giveaways, guests can also tour ASU Prep South Phoenix Primary/Intermediate School (K-6), one of 12 schools within the ASU Preparatory Academy network.

Families play an active role in students’ success at ASU Prep. Bringing families together and nurturing a sense of community are just some of the ways ASU Prep creates a supportive environment where students can excel.

During this free community event, families in the area who may be considering enrollment for the fall 2024 semester have the opportunity to explore the school, meet staff, tour the building and experience some of the engaging educational activities that prepare students for success in college and beyond.

ASU Prep’s approach is personalized, project-based and tailored to meet the needs of individual students in diverse communities across Arizona. It’s all part of an effort to remove barriers and help students pursue their passions, achieve their goals and build a lifelong love of learning.

Attendees who pre-register will be eligible for prize drawings. Registration is available at http://www.asuprepevents.com.
