Bashas’ Family of Stores will hold a hiring event this Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at its new Corporate Support Center (2650 W. Geronimo Place, 85224) in Chandler.

From its corporate office in Chandler, the grocer supports its more than 100 supermarkets across Arizona and New Mexico. This includes the Food City, AJ's Fine Foods, Bashas’ Diné Markets, Eddie’s Country Store, and Bashas' formats.

Bashas’ is looking to fill 500 full-time, part-time (permanent), and seasonal positions before the holidays. Positions are available at the grocer’s Corporate Support Center and retail stores (all formats). The open positions range from hourly clerks to store managers and everything in-between.

The grocer has immediate openings for the following positions:

• Bakery Managers, Pastry Chefs, Bakers, Cake Decorators, and Bakery Clerks
• Sushi Chefs, Meat Cutters, and Meat Sales Clerks

• Gourmet Chefs, BBQ Chefs, and Outside Grillers
• Merchandising Experts, Produce Clerks and Floral Designers
• Wine Cellar Team Leads, Wine Stewards, and Wine Clerks

• Pharmacy Managers
• Bookkeepers, Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks

During the event on Tuesday, job applicants will meet with the grocer’s hiring team for an interview and to complete paperwork. Walk-ins are encouraged and in many cases, qualified applicants will be hired on the spot.
