The Arizona Animal Welfare League’s robust education department is geared up for summer with Veterinary Science Camp. Kids ages 15-17 can learn all about the field of veterinary science and medicine through guest speakers, hands-on lab activities, mock procedures, dissections, live surgery observations, and more. Classes start Monday June 7 from 9AM to 3PM and continue through Friday July 30. Classes are currently limited to eight students per camp and participants must bring their own snacks, packed lunch, and water bottle. The location of the camp is at Arizona Animal Welfare League, 15 N. 40th Pl., Phoenix, AZ, and the fee for the camp is $350. For more information, visit https://aawl.org/education/seasonal-camps.
