The Arizona Animal Welfare League’s robust education department presents, Animal Advocacy Camp. Kids can have their voice heard and make a bigger difference in the lives of animals and explore the different issues that animals face today along with the variety of careers that are working to help be part of the solution. Classes start Monday June 7 and will continue through Friday July 30 from 9AM to 1PM. Kids ages 12-14 can enjoy this wonderful opportunity. There is also an option for an extended 2-hour day option from 1PM to 3PM campers can receive two volunteer hours each day through the education department. (cost: $100 per week) The fee for the camp is $175 and participants must bring their own snacks, packed lunch, and water bottle. The location is at The Arizona Animal Welfare League, 15 N. 40th Pl., Phoenix, AZ. Classes are currently limited to eight students per camp.
