Lights, camera, action! The Downtown Mesa Association is excited to present Mesa Movie Mayhem, a new outdoor movie series. “Doors” open at 6 p.m., with themed character meet and greets from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and showtime at 7:30 p.m.

The movies will be projected outside in the heart of Downtown Mesa at a special fenced in area at the corner of Main St. and MacDonald—in what was formerly al Fresco off Main. People can purchase tickets for future Mesa Movie Mayhem events by buying “pods”. The “pods” are $5 for a small size (seats up to two people) or $10 for a large size (fits up to six people). People are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs. Snacks like popcorn and soda will be available for purchase at the pop-up concession stand or guests can grab take-out from one of the many local restaurants in Downtown Mesa.

On Saturday, May 8th they will be showing Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse with special guest Spiderman, Captain America and Iron-Man (thanks to locally owned Gordon’s Get-Ups). Tickets can be purchased here.
