Rare Ambition, a Scottsdale-based nonprofit dedicated to putting Thanksgiving dinner on the tables of local families in need, is opening its doors to the community to accept donations on November 17th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Rare Ambition is specifically looking for the following items; Stove Top stuffing, canned cut green beans, Heinz Homestyle gravy, canned cranberry sauce, chocolate chip cookie mix (bags), bags of potatoes, Hawaiian bread rolls, frozen turkeys, Jelly Belly’s, Hershey’s Kisses, Hershey’s hugs and gift cards to grocery stores.

While food is a huge part of Rare Ambition’s Thanksgiving baskets, the founder is passionate about creating family traditions by adding essential items including picture frames, boardgames, place settings, and bakeware to ensure families aren’t just fed but have a meaningful, memorable dinner. Rare Ambition partners with local churches, schools, and anonymous individuals to find local families in need.
