Children are more powerful than they know – especially when fighting for their lives. Power Play, presented by Discount Tire, will turn 10 Phoenix Children’s patients into their true superhero identities on Friday, Nov. 13, when each patient debuts a custom-designed superhero suit during a virtual video premiere.
 
Power Play brings together 10 Phoenix Children’s patients with 10 student fashion designers from ASU's School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts to create superhero suits that reflect each patient’s unique superhero persona. Patients were matched with student fashion designers who helped them transform their fighting spirit into costumes that visually represent their journeys. Each designer sketched and stitched their superhero suit to pay tribute to the vision of their young hero. Watch these stories unfold as 10 dynamic duos team up.
