Join the Tempe Diablos on Monday, May 4, for a virtual “Academy Awards” for teachers on Facebook from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to recognize outstanding educators serving the Tempe community. The 31st annual Excellence in Education ceremony presents educators in the Tempe Union, Kyrene Union and Tempe Elementary districts with awards such as Teacher of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Leadership, High Impact, Inspiration, Rising Star and Class Act.
