Arizona is in need of foster families. More and more children are entering the system while the number of licensed foster homes decline. Arizona Helping Hands, the largest provider of basic needs statewide, hosts monthly information sessions about fostering, adopting and more.
Attendees will learn about foster care, adoption and kinship licensing. Also, the variety of programs that Arizona Helping Hands offers to foster families and how they help to ease the financial burden by supplying items such as beds, cribs, and home safety licensing packages at no cost. This educational session is for adults only and will be approximately two hours long. There is no registration required.
