Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows “An Iconic Southwestern Destination”
Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows invites guests to arrive curious to the secluded 23-acre destination in the heart of Scottsdale. Described as “being away from it all while in the middle of everything,” the resort features first-class dining, full spa services and three pools with inspiring views of Camelback Mountain.

Recognized by Conde Nast Traveler 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards as one of the top resorts in the Southwest, Andaz features 185 spacious bungalows and suites that have patios, private terraces and oversized bathrooms. Guests looking for that extra layer of privacy can request information on ‘The Retreat,’ a private cluster of 20 bungalows separate from the rest of the resort with a private pool.

The Palo Verde Spa & Apothecary allows guests to work with consultants to create programs tailored to address specific needs and preferences. Services available at the spa include deep tissue massage, cleaning clay wraps and the water lily radiance recovery facial that gently exfoliates dead skin cells while improving hydration and soothing redness to create calm, nourished and radiant skin.

Inside the spa, guests can book an appointment at the full-service salon, taking advantage of services including manicures, pedicures, hair care and styling services. A full range of cardiovascular and strength training equipment is available for guests with fitness training in mind.

Guests with a craving for adventure can venture away from the resort and explore the surrounding city. With more than 200 golf courses, Scottsdale is the ideal destination for the avid golfer while those with nature at heart can enjoy a visit to the Desert Botanical Garden or climb 2,700 feet to the peak of Camelback Mountain. There is even something for guests looking for souvenirs or keeping up with current trends, with the resort being located 2 miles from Scottsdale Fashion Square and less than 4 miles from Old Town Scottsdale.

Couples looking for wedding venues are invited to request information from Andaz. The resort features indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate parties of any size, access to a wedding and event specialist, vendor recommendations, menu customization, and access to an extensive list of Andaz approved wedding coordinators and planners. All ceremony spaces include dressing rooms, seating, a sound system with a microphone, guest book and gift table, and one-hour ceremony rehearsals in available spaces.

Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen brings the creations of award-winning chef Nate Larsen and his team to guests of Andaz. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Larsen features locally sourced ingredients in seasonal menus served from 6:30 a.m.–10 p.m. and live music Wednesday–Sunday from 6–9 p.m.

“Each new season gives the culinary team at Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows an opportunity to draw from our global identity when it comes to our menus and experiences,” Larsen says.

The spring menu features new twists on classical dishes and comfort foods. Guests can indulge in an Ahi tuna tartar starter made with green papaya, cucumber, chili, aioli, black sesame and taro chips before moving on to a main dish of peppercorn New York strip served with maitake mushrooms and chimichurri. Sharable side offerings include pan-fried mushrooms, shaved street corn, and grilled asparagus.

“It’s an exciting time to visit the restaurant and taste your way through fresh flavors with local and global flair,” he shares.

Guests in parties up to 10 can opt to reserve space at the chef’s table for an all-in dining experience. Inside the kitchen and amongst all the action, the six-course meal gives diners the opportunity to test and taste items on the new menu.

“The entire space was designed for the passionate foodie who wants to be part of the energy and action of the kitchen,” Larsen says. “It’s a lot of fun and allows us to guide the guests through the menu in a really interactive way.”

Andaz is offering a deal on summer room reservations. The ‘Heat it Up in Scottsdale’ package waives the resort fee, provides guests with a 25 percent discount on spa services, daily breakfast service for two and four cocktails per stay included in the package.
